The Team of Ceremonial Leaders for
The Journey of The Waters....

Oh Shinnáh Fastwolf

Oh Shinnáh Fastwolf is an Earth Warrior of the Shishindi, the people called Apache. She was born in a crystal ceremony and immediately given by her parents to the Creator to be a warrior for the People of the Earth Mother. Oh Shinnáh is a published poet, writer and Interfaith Minister. She holds a BA in music theory, MA in voice from Denver University, A BA, MS in Clinical Psychology, Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the U. of Chicago.

With the permission on her many teachers from North and South America and across the Great Sea she has been of service to the Earth for over 30 years. Her work was acknowledged in 2001 when she was awarded The International Helen (Caldicott) Prize for Women in the category of Humanitarianism. Her name was also placed on the Southern Poverty Law Center's Wall of Tolerance in Alabama. Oh Shinnáh's most prestigious credit lies in her long history teaching rainbow people the medicine ways of her people and in her own unique healing perspective based on years of living in two worlds.

It took 15 years for Oh Shinnáh to get permission from her Apache teachers and elders to take non-native people on the ancient path of her people known to us as The Journey of the Waters. Every year Oh Shinnáh and two of her accomplices, Deep Arrow Woman and Bright Owl, take groups of native and non-native people into Sacred Waters in New Mexico and Colorado to be purified and transformed in a series of powerful and secret ceremonies. They are then initiated onto the Healing Path of Changing Woman.

Deep Arrow Woman and Bright Owl are long-time accomplices of Oh Shinnáh's who have been living her teachings for themselves in the dominant culture. In a spirit dream, Oh Shinnáh was directed to select these two women from amongst her many accomplices to train them so that they will continue the ceremony of the Journey of the Waters when she is ready to lay down this work.

The three women work together as a team to assist each participant in experiencing their lives coming more directly from Spirit and making choices to help and to heal to make the world a better place for everyone.
