than Fox - ally of family and community and one of Deep Arrow’s animal guides.

Many members and friends of Moonfire continue to bless us by showing their appreciation and generosity of spirit in numerous ways.
The Fox Clan plays a vital part in the Moonfire community by helping to focus these blessings and thereby strengthening our
connection with the Divine and one another. The Fox Clan is committed to service and support.

The Fox Clan is responsible for:
~ identifying needs and implementing solutions to satisfy those needs
~ assisting Deep Arrow and The Lodge at special events
~ caring for visiting teachers, elders and Medicine People
~ honoring traditions, overseeing celebrations and establishing protocol for the culture of Moonfire Meeting House
~ exercising the visionary leadership necessary to uphold, expand and revitalize community in these precarious times,
when called upon to do so.


Members of The Fox Clan embody the words of Jack Kornfield, author and founder of Spirit Rock Buddhist Center, when he writes,
“Out of true mystic understanding one naturally becomes a servant.”

To become a The Fox Clan Member, you need only to be willing to serve and support, be ready to grow, and commit to “walk your talk."
Even Members from out of state, who are unable to offer their time to assist at community events, serve by offering their spiritual support.

~ learning community-building skills or Medicine Ways by the “study as you serve” method

~ experiencing a more intimate involvement in community
